1. Service Description

CogniNook is an AI-powered tutoring platform covering Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Human Biology, and Earth & Space Science, designed for Australian high school students (Years 7–12). Our service provides guided, step-by-step tutoring aligned with the Australian curriculum. CogniNook does not replace professional teaching — it supplements classroom learning with personalised, on-demand help.

2. Payment Terms

  • Price: $29 per month (AUD), billed in advance via Stripe. Prices are in Australian dollars. GST is not currently applicable.
  • Free trial: Every new account receives a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
  • Refunds: We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period, but you will not be charged again after cancellation.

3. AI Disclaimer

CogniNook's responses are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee that every response will be correct. Students should always verify important concepts with their teachers or textbooks. CogniNook is a learning aid, not an authoritative source of truth.

4. User Conduct

By using CogniNook, you agree to:

  • Use the service only for its intended educational purpose.
  • Not share your account credentials with others — each account is for individual use.
  • Not use the service to cheat on assessments or exams.
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the service.
  • Not submit content that is offensive, harmful, or violates any laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CogniNook and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this service. This includes, but is not limited to, any reliance on AI-generated answers that turn out to be incorrect. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of CogniNook after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
